The Fresh Bake division of Wakefern Food Corp. in New Jersey was a client for more than 20 years. This bi-monthly newsletter went to managers of bakery departments in the cooperative's locally-owned supermarkets. It offered advice on sales techniques, cake decorating and promotional ideas to in-store bakers. Keeping it "fresh" is easy, because the grocery business is so dynamic. It died in 2013 due to customer disinterest. RIP, Baking Bits. We had a good, long run.
